POWERS AND ABILITIES:
His armor constructed by Christmas, gives him super strength, endurance and a high degree of protection from attacks. Rocket boots built into the feet of the armor gives him flight. Christmas also provided many gadgets that are hidden within compartments of the armor.
Edgar uses his street fighting skills to maneuver the armor in a fight. He uses it's strength, weight and punching power often.


Fort Knox Armor Specifications

Computer Artificial Intelligence:
S.A.M. – Sustainable Artificial Man
This is the brains of the armor. SAM is a computer program. Christmas wrote the program using the Lisp programming language. SAM speaks using a female voice.
Christmas wrote the program specifically to control all of the armor’s systems. Therefore, it only resides in the armor and for the armor. For example, when it tells Edgar there is a problem. It doesn’t say, “There is a problem with the right leg of the armor.” It says, “There is a problem with my right leg.” It thinks the armor is part of it.
If for some reason Edgar is knocked unconscious, SAM can take control of the armor by herself. Unknown to Edgar, Christmas built a failsafe into SAM. If Edgar tries to use the armor for evil, she will prevent him from doing so. SAM will not allow Christmas to be attacked by the armor in any way. Christmas can turn SAM off by saying a secret word.
SAM can use Worker Nanobots that reside inside the armor to repair any damage at any time.

Weight:
Armor weight: 210 lbs. combined with Edgar 400 lbs.

Metal used:
The armor is made of a special form of gold alloy invented by Christmas. This gold alloy is extremely hard, but soft enough to give the armor some flex. It is also a great conductor for the electricity of the suit.

Force Field:
A charged plasma field is used to construct a force field around the entire suit at all times. This allows a layered protection with the armor being the second layer.

Boots:
Rocket boots were constructed into the feet of the armor to give the wearer flight. The boots use a very low volume of chemical compound to burn for fuel.
If the rocket boots fail, air resistant flaps built within the compartments of the arms and legs of the armor help to land without crashing.

Cybernetics:
The robotics and cybernetics built into the suit’s capabilities are astounding. The onboard computer transfers the brainwaves of Edgar to move the armor when he wants to move parts of his own body.

Eyes:
Vision within the suit is much better than normal humans. The HUD displays a rear view from the small cameras in the back of the helmet. Infrared, zooming, radar and sonar are also built into the vision system.

Gadgets:
Christmas specializes in gadgets and built some serious ones inside the suit. Some of these emerge from the wrist and forearm compartments while others emerge from the legs and other concealed places in the armor.
Taser Cord – Long cord used to wrap around opponent. Electrical current can flow through it.
Gas – Various potent gases can be sprayed from the suit. As well as some type of confining foam (a Christmas special).
Bombs/grenades – Various bombs can be deployed such as fire and explosive type bombs. Sticky grenades and magnetic grenades are also available.
Darts – Chemical tipped darts can be shot from the wrists.
Electrical transfer – Electricity can be emitted from around the suit for protection or sent forth for offensive purposes.


Here is the story:

When making a delivery while performing Project: Sleighride, Christmas visits a very poor little girl that lives with her low-income family. When landing, he notices gang members attacking a man on the street in front of the house. Christmas jumps in and fights them off.

The man thanks him. "I wish I had your power, I wouldn't have to worry about these attacks on my home any longer."

As he helps the man up, a little girl comes running out of the house, "Daddy....Daddy!!"
The man's wife stands at the door visibly shaken.

While inside, Christmas asks the little girl what she wants for Christmas. She says, "I want my Daddy to have the strength to take care of himself, so he won't get hurt. It's always a hundred to one, its not fair!"

Christmas smiles, "Okay, I'll see what I can do."

Back at Christmas' workshop, he talks to his friend The Green Zap about his plans.

"Your just going to give this man a powerful suit of armor without getting to know him first? What if he uses it for something bad?", Green Zap said.

"You try saying no to an adorable little kid like that. But you have a valid point, I didn't think that deeply about it. See, thats why I keep you around Zapper!", Christmas answered.

Green Zap just shook his head, "I don't know about you sometimes."

So Christmas visited the family more often and then invited the father, whose name was Edgar Green, to Celebration Center several times. Chrstmas offered him a job as night security for the Celebration Center Museum whiched he owned and operated. He figured that it would help his family plus it would give him a chance to get to know Edgar even better. Some of the things Edgar had been through really hit home with Christmas. He told him stories of growing up with a father that didn't care about him.

"Yeah, my father would come home drunk all the time. Drinking seemed to be the only thing he cared about. He lost job after job and then started dealing drugs to earn money. It was a nightmare for me and my mom. I told myself a long time ago I would do whatever I could to take care of my family and especially to make my little girl proud of her father. I don't want her going through what I went through.", Edgar explained.

Christmas finally felt comfortable inviting Edgar to his Workshop. After hearing about his life, Christmas realized they had a lot in common. They have been through some of the same trials in life. He saw Edgar in a new light, as sort of a kindred spirit. When the man arrives, he is in awe of the workshop.They walk into the back room and hanging from a large metal stand is an amazing suit of golden armor.

"Well, I know it is a little late for a Christmas present, but you know for me, Christmas is like everyday.", Christmas chuckled.

Edgar confused said, "What do you mean? This is for me? But why?"

"You said you wanted power like mine so you can take care of your family, well, here it is. I designed it with you in mind. Oh, and this is to use while on the job as security at the museum too. I bet those petty crooks will think twice about stealing anything from the museum now.", Christmas laughed.

Edgar had tears in his eyes, "I don't know what to say, but my first thought is that I think my family will finally feel safe and my little girl will be so thrilled. Thank you Christmas."

"Awww, no biggie, I love building this stuff, so it was no sweat. By the way, if anything ever goes wrong with the armor, just bring it to me for repairs. Now, how about a test drive?"

Christmas showed Edgar how to put on the armor. He opened the roof to the workshop and gave Edgar the thumbs up.

Edgar spoke through the armored suit which gave him a different voice, "So I guess you can call me Super Edgar!"

"I was thinking with all that gold that we would call you Fort Knox!", Christmas grinned.

Edgar gave the thumbs up and suddenly fiery blasts shot out from underneath his rocket boots. "WHOOOOOSH!" Out through the roof he flew!
